About this listing
Overview Money20/20 USA is the American edition of the fintech trade show that also runs in Amsterdam, Bangkok and Riyadh. For four days each October it takes over The Venetian in Las Vegas. Bankers, payments people, founders, retailers, investors and regulators fly in to meet each other, and a lot of the industry's partnership deals and product news happen that week. It opens with a Sunday night show and closes after three full days on the expo floor. Informa runs it. On site The show floor, called Money Hall, is laid out like a festival rather than a grid. Booths sit between themed stages, lounges and meeting areas on a pink carpet. Sessions run on the Exchange, Intersection, MoneyPot podcast and Startup Hub stages, among others, from about nine to five. The Connections Lounge and private meeting pods fill all day, and the SmartMeet program books one-to-one meetings with bank and retail buyers over lunch. At night the crowd moves to Money Row, a strip of Venetian restaurants that brands take over, and to Money by Night at OMNIA. Audience People come to do deals. The organizer describes senior executives from banks, payments, technology, retail, crypto and policy, and a third of the room holds a C-suite title. Most of them book their days solid with meetings. In the gaps they walk the floor looking for partners or catch a panel, and the talking carries on over dinners and parties well past midnight. Talent and Influencers Keynotes come from the top of the industry. Announced speakers include Bill Demchak, chairman and CEO of PNC, Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour, Cameron Fowler, CEO of Early Warning, Sequoia Capital partner Andrew Reed, Leigh Amaro of SWIFT and Racquel Oden of HSBC. Adyen, PayPal, Visa and Thunes executives have spoken about the show on record. A daily closing-bell program, Taking Stock, is produced with the New York Stock Exchange and Cheddar, and Timbaland plays the Money by Night party. Track record Industry insiders started it as the world was climbing out of the financial crisis. The organizer now bills it as the top fintech event in the US, and companies time their big news for it. Western Union announced its dollar stablecoin here, PayPal and Google announced an agentic shopping partnership, and Checkout.com announced acquiring services for Uber. The Money Awards now honor winners on the Sunday night stage. Brand presence Sponsors are grouped in tiers, from Elite down to Startup Pavilion pods. The organizer says they get four times the meetings of ordinary attendees. Brands build custom booths on the floor and run private meeting pods beside them. Some host lunches or VIP rooms. Adyen once put its name on a billboard over the Venetian canal. Others produce content sessions with the organizer's team or book a Money Row restaurant for a night. The team will also build a bespoke package.
