Overview The NASCAR Canada Series is NASCAR's national stock car championship in Canada, a season of 525-horsepower V8 cars that runs on short ovals, road courses and street circuits from Nova Scotia to Alberta; in 2026 it raced 14 times over 11 weekends, several of them doubleheaders, and added a street race in Markham, Ontario. The cars are steel tube-framed silhouette stock cars with carbureted V8s, weighing 3,050 pounds. NASCAR bought the series, then the CASCAR Super Series, in 2006, and it ran as the NASCAR Canadian Tire Series and then the NASCAR Pinty's Series before taking its current name in late 2023. On site The calendar reads like a map of Canadian racing: Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville twice, Calabogie and Delaware in Ontario, Riverside International Speedway in Nova Scotia, Edmonton International Raceway in Alberta, and in Quebec Autodrome Chaudière, Autodrome Montmagny, Complexe ICAR in Mirabel and the street circuit at Trois-Rivières. Three of those weekends stacked two races onto one card in 2026. Partners get a commercial footprint of 10 by 10 feet or more at the races, and hospitality runs to drivers' meeting access and VIP race-day tours. Audience Four of the 11 race weekends on the 2026 calendar were in Quebec, and the series publishes its race reports in French as well as English. Talent and Influencers Marc-Antoine Camirand won the 2026 championship driving the No. 96 Paillé Chevrolet, his third title in a row and fourth in five seasons, which made him the first driver in series history to three-peat and tied Scott Steckly's record of four titles. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin finished second in the 2026 standings and Kevin Lacroix third, Donald Theetge won the finale at Delaware ahead of Lacroix and D.J. Kennington, and Connor Bell was Rookie of the Year. In 2019 Julia Landauer became the first woman to lead a lap in the series. Track record The series traces back to CASCAR, founded in 1981. Canadian Tire held the title from 2007 to 2015 and Pinty's from 2016 to 2023, and from 2024 the series moved to presenting partners, Pinty's and Evirum. It ran its first race in the United States in 2018, at New Hampshire Motor Speedway, and its first race on dirt at Ohsweken Speedway in 2022. Brand presence Individual races carry partner names, such as the CarGurus 200, the Pinty's 300 and the NAPA 150. At series level NASCAR sells official partner status in a named category with rights to NASCAR Canada marks, signage at race weekends, a race entitlement, use of the championship trophy at a corporate event, and commercials, digital billboards and lower-third graphics across the REV TV, TSN and TVA Sports broadcasts. Partners also get access to NASCAR's fan research team, introductions to tracks and teams in Canada and the United States, and the series' annual Fuel for Business event.
