Overview ArtsQuest's Oktoberfest fills the SteelStacks campus in Bethlehem over two October weekends with German food, four biergartens, polka and rock bands and some of the region's most unconventional competitions. It is free to get in and runs Friday nights and all day Saturday and Sunday. On site Guests move between the Hofbräu, Samuel Adams/Dogfish Head, Krombacher and Yuengling biergartens, a Künstler Markt of local artisans and the Oktoberfest Arena, home to wiener dog races, the pup parade, flip cup and the Pennsylvania State Steinholding Championships. A Yuengling beer dinner, a bourbon tasting, hot glass workshops and the Karl Ehmer Bratwurst Eating Competition round out the weekends. Sponsors can name a biergarten, present a competition, run a 10x10 activation or sampling station and join the sponsor happy hour. Audience Adults 21 to 64, skewing male, plus families with kids and dogs on weekend afternoons. Most come from the Lehigh Valley, with day-trippers from Philadelphia, New Jersey and New York. Talent and Influencers Close to sixty bands and dance troupes play each year, among them Polkadelphia, GTV Almrausch, G.T.E.V. D'Lustigen Isartaler, The Wonton Soups and Chasing Stars, alongside Schuhplattler dancers and a drag show. Track record Oktoberfest has run at SteelStacks for sixteen years and welcomed about 48,500 people and nearly 200 volunteers across its most recent two weekends, with 38 beers on tap and more than 160 dogs in the races. Brand presence Lehigh Valley International Airport (ABE) presents Oktoberfest. Yuengling, Samuel Adams, Dogfish Head, Hofbräu and Krombacher run biergartens, Karl Ehmer presents the bratwurst contest, and partners include JPMorgan Chase, ABARTA Coca-Cola, Banko Beverage, Ace Hardware Home Services, Adams Outdoor, Service Electric, TuWay and Loud Radio.
