About this listing
Overview The ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic is a PGA TOUR event on the Atlantic at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, and when it began in 2024 it was the first PGA TOUR event ever played in Myrtle Beach and, by the tournament's count, the first sanctioned major tournament on the Grand Strand in 24 years. It is a dual-field event with 120 players, played in May; in 2026 the purse was $4 million, with 300 FedExCup points and a tour exemption through 2028 for the winner. ONEflight International, a Denver private aviation company, joined Visit Myrtle Beach as co-title sponsor in 2025, and SPORTFIVE manages the event. The Dunes, a Robert Trent Jones design incorporated in 1948, has hosted PGA TOUR Champions and USGA events, among more than 90 courses on the Grand Strand. On site The week opens with two pro-ams: on Monday amateurs play 18 holes with one tour pro, and at the Official Wednesday Pro-Am, which the public can attend, each group plays nine holes with each of two pros. Hospitality clusters around the last two holes. Private suites sit to the right of the 18th green and the Carolina Club to its left; the par-3 17th is ringed by cabanas, greenside boxes and seats and an open-air deck, steps from the Fan Zone. The Clubhouse Lounge is the only ticket inside the clubhouse, a ballroom with Atlantic views and no golf views. Autographs are signed only in the Autograph Zone, and all tickets are digital. Audience The tournament courts families and service members: up to four children 15 and under get in free with each ticketed adult, and in 2026 military and first responders received free Wednesday Pro-Am tickets and discounts for the four tournament rounds. The Wednesday Pro-Am carries a celebrity field; in 2025 ONEflight flew in more than a dozen of its celebrity ambassadors for the pro-am, including Kevin Costner and Kurt Russell. Talent and Influencers Chris Gotterup won the first edition in 2024. Ryan Fox won in 2025 with a 60-foot chip-in on the first playoff hole, and by March 2026 both were ranked inside the world top 50. Brandt Snedeker won in 2026, the 10th PGA TOUR win of his career. Track record In 2026 the tournament named nine Grand Strand charities as beneficiaries, among them Blue Star Mothers of Coastal Carolina, the Boys and Girls Club of the Grand Strand, the Children's Recovery Center, Help 4 Kids and Project Golf, which brings golf to active-duty military and veterans. Brand presence The tournament sorts its sponsors into co-title sponsors, official partners, corporate partners and activation partners, and says its aim is to give local brands a national platform. The title partner has built its own layer on the purse: for 2026 ONEflight put up a $250,000 flight credit for the winner and a five-hour flight credit for every player who made the 36-hole cut. Hospitality buyers get their company name on the venue signage and bar rail at the 17th and 18th greens, and pro-am spots, naming rights on the Wednesday Pro-Am and a military program are sold alongside.
