Overview The Park City Wine Festival's fall edition is a three-day October wine weekend in Park City, Utah, and its Friday-night Best of Fest pours only reserve bottles rated 90 points or more, some retailing above $270. Around it run two days of Grand Tastings at Canyons Village with more than 50 wineries from the West Coast to France, paired dinners and lunches at Park City restaurants, hikes that end at a wine lunch, and a Saturday Night Cap of spirits on Main Street. Every event is ticketed on its own. Team Player Productions, a Colorado festival producer with events in Colorado, Utah and Montana, runs it, and Canyons Village Management Association was presenting partner in 2026. On site The Grand Tasting is a walk-around on Canyons Village Plaza with more than 200 wines, spirits and cocktails, charcuterie and bites from Park City restaurants, and live music. Entry is staggered: First Sip ticket holders go in first with upgraded glassware, then Early Access, then general admission. The floor carries a Bubble Bar, a photo booth and personalization station, a Two Truths and a Wine game, shopping and live art. Best of Fest moves up the mountain to Silver Lake Lodge at Deer Valley, where guests get an Italian crystal glass, local artists paint during the evening, and in 2026 Olympic gold medalist Brian Boitano was the guest. The Night Cap fills Alpine Distilling on Main Street with craft cocktails, neat pours and a dessert bar. In 2026 the Thursday dinners ran at RIME at the St. Regis Deer Valley, Riverhorse on Main, Le Depot Brasserie, Butcher's Chop House and LOMA. Audience It is 21 and over, with no children or pets. The hikes start at 10 a.m. and finish at a lunch table, and the festival urges people to leave their cars at their lodging and use Park City's free buses between events. Utah law bars wine sales at the festival, so guests note favorites in the festival guide to buy later. Track record Before the 2026 weekend, seven of its twelve dinners, lunches and hikes had sold out, including the Duckhorn dinner at RIME and the DAOU dinner at Riverhorse on Main. Brand presence Wineries do more than pour at a table here: in 2026 Duckhorn, DAOU and Brassfield Estate each built a Thursday dinner around their own wines, and J. Lohr's Carol's Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon was the welcome pour at Best of Fest. SommSchool gave festival guests a free tasting guide. Best of Fest ticket proceeds went to Arts Council Park City and Summit County. Sponsorship runs from a presenting position through platinum, gold and silver, and the festival builds custom packages.
