About this listing
Overview The Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance is an invitation-only judged show of collector cars on the 18th fairway of Pebble Beach Golf Links, and at its 75th edition, in 2026, 218 cars from 14 countries took the lawn and a 1935 Duesenberg SSJ Special Speedster once owned by Clark Gable won Best of Show. Class judges choose the first-place car in each class, committees of honorary judges hand out the special awards, and one car is named Best of Show at the end of the Sunday. It closes Pebble Beach Automotive Week, which the Concours says draws more than 40,000 people to the Monterey Peninsula. It began in 1950, and the Concours says most modern concours trace their roots to it. On site Spectators walk to the show field through Concours Village, more than 60,000 square feet of displays open to the public Thursday through Sunday, with manufacturer stands, ride-and-drives, retail, RetroAuto's collectibles and memorabilia dealers, the Classic Car Forum's panel talks and the Media Center. VIP patrons eat breakfast and a buffet lunch in the Club d'Elegance tent by the Equestrian Center and ride VIP shuttles closer to the field. Carmakers show concept cars on the upper lawn of The Lodge on Saturday afternoon and Concours Sunday, and hold launch press conferences on the awards ramp. Earlier in the week the Tour d'Elegance sends more than 150 entrants on a 70-mile drive down 17-Mile Drive and Highway One to Big Sur and back, with crowds along the route, and the Motoring Classic drives about 1,500 miles from the Pacific Northwest to Pebble Beach. Audience In the Concours' 2025 attendee survey, guests came from 23 countries on five continents: 10% lived in Monterey County, 42% elsewhere in California, 39% elsewhere in the United States and 9% traveled from abroad. The car owners themselves gather with their families on Sunday's ocean-view participant patio, and the judges' suite fills with honorary, chief and class judges drawn from automotive and design figures, chief executives and racing drivers. About 1,000 accredited journalists work the week. Talent and Influencers The 2026 winning Duesenberg is one of two SSJ Special Speedsters ever built, and it gave Harry Yeaggy of Cincinnati his second Best of Show, after a Duesenberg SJ Mormon Meteor in 2007. In 2025 the Concours streamed the Sunday live as Concours Live, a chat show from the field hosted by Justin Bell and Tommy Kendall of The Torque Show. Track record The 2026 Concours raised $4.3 million for charity, taking its total giving past $50 million. Concours Live drew 1.2 million Facebook views in 2024 and 2.1 million in 2025. Brand presence Automakers do most of the building. Alfa Romeo, Brabus, Cadillac, Continental Tire, Hennessey Special Vehicles, INFINITI, Lincoln, Lucid, Maserati, Mercedes-Benz and Rivian have all taken Concours Village displays, and Rolex presented the 2025 Tour d'Elegance. A Concours Live title partner's name goes into the broadcast title, with a promo each hour and on-air mentions, while segment partners present features such as the winner's circle or concept cars and debuts. Partners also brand the digital ticket every guest carries, outfit judges and volunteers, and supply VIP gifts, and the Concours builds each package to the partner.
