Overview Railcar Revival is a two-day Texas Country and rock festival held beside the railroad tracks at Buda Amphitheater and City Park just south of Austin. The bill mixes throwback headliners with up-and-coming and local Texas acts, and the sound runs across country, Americana, folk and rock on two stages. The Austin production company HighBridge Events runs it with the City of Buda and the Buda Economic Development Corporation. The name points back to Buda's years as a railroad depot town. On site The park's permanent amphitheater is the main stage, with video boards on both sides, and a second stage is set aside for local and emerging Texas artists. The Depot, a large covered pavilion open to every ticket holder, has a raised and shaded view of the main stage, a dance floor, food and a sports bar with screens. Food trucks, western-wear and hat vendors, photo ops, a free hydration station and sponsor activations fill the lawn. VIP ticket holders get front-of-stage viewing, a private bar and air-conditioned restrooms, and private hospitality suites face the stage. Audience Fans come in boots and cowboy hats. They pack the barricade in front of the main stage, two-step on The Depot dance floor and settle into lawn chairs between sets. The festival is open to all ages, and kids 10 and under get in free, so plenty of families come as a group. Talent and Influencers Past headliners include Treaty Oak Revival, Hudson Westbrook, Gin Blossoms and Clay Walker. Earlier bills also carried Reckless Kelly, Ty Myers, Cody Canada and the Departed, Uncle Lucius, The Wilder Blue and Bayker Blankenship. The most recent lineup ran to 15 acts over two days and added Fastball, Deana Carter and Cory Morrow. DJ Jonathan Terrell has played between sets. The next lineup has not been announced. Track record Railcar Revival began as a one-day, one-stage show and now runs two days on two stages. Attendance has passed 5,000, and the headliners have moved from red dirt favorites to national names such as Gin Blossoms and Clay Walker. Brand presence The presenting sponsor puts its name on the festival and the main stage, gets a suite and video board features, and can bring a non-profit partner of its own choosing. All Aboard sponsors each take one named asset: the second stage, The Depot, VIP, the hydration station, the Cool Zone, the railcar photo op or a suite. Gold sponsors get activation space on the grounds with website and social recognition. Beverage partners have built out vintage trailers as bars on the lawn.
