Overview Seattle Art Fair is a four-day contemporary art fair in the Lumen Field Event Center, the exhibition hall at Seattle's football stadium, and in 2026 it set galleries from 13 countries around large installations such as Trulee Hall's kinetic Cloud Goddess, hung overhead. Paul G. Allen founded the fair in 2015, three years before his death, and 2026 was its tenth edition. The Seattle Art Museum is its beneficiary partner and shows its own SAM Gallery on the floor. On site Booths fill the hall floor, from Seattle dealers such as Roq La Rue, Stonington Gallery and Winston Wachter Fine Art to galleries from Tokyo, Seoul, Paris, Kyiv, Cape Town and Buenos Aires. Public Projects, large installations placed among the booths, carry the fair's own program; in 2026 it leaned into textile and fiber. The fair also runs theater programming with talks and a list of Around Town events across the city. In 2026 it opened on a Thursday and ran 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday. Talent and Influencers The 2026 Public Projects included Lucy + Jorge Orta's tapestry series on planetary change, Ko Kirk Yamahira's hand-unwoven installation, Tininha Silva's underwater fiber environment Between Tides, and an interactive piece from the Dutch collective Studio Drift drawn from Pacific Northwest landscapes. Jeremy Deller showed Life Drawing of a Caregiver with Gage Academy of Art, Jim Woodring's comics marked Fantagraphics' 50th year, and Inye Wokoma, Priscilla Dobler Dzul and Malaika Temba also showed. Brand presence Brands appear in the program as well as on the walls. In 2026 National Geographic Expeditions presented a Public Project, The Art of Discovery, Ashurst Perkins Coie presented the Select VIP Program, and TFA Advisory presented Malaika Temba's work. Partnerships are built to order in two custom tiers.
