For more than 50 years, SIFF has brought the world to the Pacific Northwest — and in today's world, global film has never been more relevant. The Seattle International Film Festival, has been integral to Seattle’s arts and culture landscape since 1973. Since then SIFF now operates three year-round cinemas and hosts film talks, mini-festivals and a youth summer camp. In 2025 SIFF joined forces with NFFTY, the National Film Festival for Talented Youth, the largest youth film festival in the world. SIFF Cinema Advertising runs on 5 screens in three venues located in the heart of Seattle's urban core: SIFF Cinema Uptown, SIFF Cinema Downtown and the SIFF Film Center. An average of 4,450 attendees per week enjoy films on the big screen, ranging from Hollywood new releases that must be seen on the big screen, to independent films, foreign language films, retrospective classics, horror, animation and more.
