Overview São Paulo FC is the club Brazilians nickname Campeão de Tudo, champion of everything: its 2024 Supercopa do Brasil made it the first Brazilian club to have won every trophy available to it, from the Paulista to the FIFA Club World Cup. It plays in the Campeonato Brasileiro Série A and the Campeonato Paulista. The club was founded on 25 January 1930 in the city of São Paulo. Home is the Estádio Cícero Pompeu de Toledo in the Morumbi district, which took the commercial name MorumBIS under a naming deal with Mondelez in December 2023. Matchday The Morumbi opened on 2 October 1960, designed by the modernist architect João Batista Vilanova Artigas, and was listed as a cultural building in 2018. Its 72,039 seats run in three tiers, and more than half of them are in the upper ring. The ground's record crowd is 146,082, set in 1977. Away from club football it staged the opening match of the 2019 Copa América, and Coldplay's 2023 run there drew 439,651 people. The supporters are the são-paulinos, and the club counts itself second in its own state and city. Talent and Influencers Telê Santana's side won the 1992 Libertadores and then beat Johan Cruyff's Barcelona 2-1 in Tokyo for that year's Intercontinental Cup, with Raí in midfield. Rogério Ceni, the club's former goalkeeper, became the highest-scoring goalkeeper in history, and he, Kaká, Luís Fabiano and Júlio Baptista were the stars of the side that won the 2000 Paulista and the club's first Rio-São Paulo title in 2001. The sleeves and the shoulders sit either side of that front, and they are in frame whenever the shirt is, on broadcasts, in highlights and in match photographs.
