Overview Soho House Art Basel is the members' club's program for Miami Art Week at Soho Beach House, a week of artist talks, dinners and parties that centers on a tent on the sand, where in 2025 Crystal Waters sang on the Horse Meat Disco night and 2 Chainz played a Porsche art and music party. It runs in early December against Art Basel Miami Beach, across Soho Beach House and the club's second Miami house, and it is for members and their guests only. Soho House opened its first club at 40 Greek Street in London in 1995 as a club for creatives; Soho Beach House is a 1940s tower on Collins Avenue with 49 bedrooms, Cecconi's, the rooftop Ocho and a private beach. On site In 2025 the Beach Tent ran three nights, 9 p.m. to midnight, for members holding an Art Week Plus pass, which came with a welcome drink each night, fast-track entry and priority tables at Cecconi's. Days are for talks and lunches: an annual Artist Lunch, artist talks with ICA Miami, a kids' day rave and, in 2025, a Moonlight Grotto installation by Cornelius Tulloch at the Miami Pool House pool. The house rehung its collection for the 2025 week with works by JR, Nan Goldin, Wolfgang Tillmans, Mickalene Thomas, Walead Beshty and Juergen Teller. Audience Everyone through the door is a Soho House member or a member's guest, and in 2025 each member could buy at most four Art Week Plus passes, so a member brought no more than three others into the tent. The daytime program has included a kids' day rave. Talent and Influencers In 2024 TYPOE built two site-specific sculptures, one in the lobby and one in the Beach Tent, Rose Marie Cromwell hung photographs of a Miami day along a second-floor hallway and Bisa Butler drew the beach bar menus. Hans Ulrich Obrist gave a talk, Marguerite Humeau spoke with ICA Miami, Chance the Rapper played a secret set, and Moodymann and Carl Craig, Amaarae, A-Trak and Bob Moses played across the week. In 2025 JR talked public art with Kate Bryan, then the club's chief art director, Leon Bridges played a Soho Unplugged set, and Benji B, Victor Calderone, Eli Escobar and The Knocks were on the decks. Brand presence Brands work inside the program. Porsche powered TYPOE's installations in 2024 and threw an art and music party in the tent with its Art Car on display in 2025. evian hosted a One Night Only dinner at Ocho in 2024, with bottles designed by Pharrell Williams, and again in 2025. Bombay Sapphire took over the beach bar in 2024 and poured at the Moonlight Grotto in 2025; Red Bull threw a house party, Grey Goose hosted the Horse Meat Disco night, and La Roche-Posay took over the tent for an afternoon.
