Overview Sukkot 3000 is the Sukkot party of Park East Synagogue and Chabad Young Professionals in New York, run by three Manhattan chapters: Chelsea and Midtown, the Upper West Side and the Upper East Side. The organizers bill it as a "Sukkot House Party for 3,000 Young Professionals." It is one night during Sukkot, the Festival of Booths. On site Live bands and DJs, an open bar and a sushi station. Last year the party filled a 5,000-square-foot sukkah on Freedom Plaza, next to Bruce Munro's Field of Light, and has also been held at the New York Public Library and Bryant Park. This year they're taking over the historic Park East Synagogue main sanctuary, 3 large 10,000 sqft sukkas, and blocking off 68th street for the event. Audience Jewish young professionals and entrepreneurs, with guests coming in from all bouroughs and New Jersey. A host committee of 40 to 60-plus young professionals promotes each night.
