Taste of Greektown is an acclaimed annual culinary festival returning to Halsted Street in Chicago's vibrant West Loop. For decades, this stretch of Halsted has served as the beating heart of the city's celebrated Greek dining scene, drawing locals and visitors alike with its iconic restaurants, warm hospitality, and unmistakable charm. From the moment guests arrive, they're greeted with the enticing aromas of grilled meats, fresh pastries, and sizzling saganaki — an unmistakable sign that Greektown is ready to shine. The festival showcases an impressive array of dishes and spirits from neighborhood eateries, each highlighting the bold, vibrant ingredients that define Greek cuisine. Beyond the food, the festival features 2 stages of live music with nonstop entertainment, authentic Greek bands filling the air with lively melodies, cultural performances transporting guests to the villages and islands of Greece, and a family area with games, activities, and interactive experiences designed for kids of all ages. Located just west of the Loop, Greektown is known for its iconic Greek restaurants, bustling bakeries, colorful murals celebrating Hellenic history and pride, and the National Hellenic Museum, which offers a deeper look into Greek culture and immigration.
