Overview Taste of Oak Brook is the Village of Oak Brook's Fourth of July party, held on the evening of July 3 on the Sports Core fields, where Oak Brook restaurants serve, a band headlines the main stage and a drone show goes up ahead of the fireworks. The Village runs it through its Community Engagement Committee, in partnership with the event company Duff Entertainment. The crowd, by the festival's account, comes from the Village and the affluent suburbs around it. On site The 2026 schedule ran from 4 to 9 p.m., with fireworks at 9:15. Food, drinks and the kids' activities all run on event tickets bought on the grounds. There are two beer gardens, each fenced with pickets, with shaded seating and lawn games, and festival-run kids' tents for face painting, balloon art and crafts. Private Cabana Suites are 10-by-20 tents for up to 75 guests each, with lounge seating, buffet catering, an open bar, their own view of the fireworks and an air-conditioned restroom trailer. Cars park in designated festival lots, and drivers are handed a parking voucher at the entrance. Talent and Influencers Sixteen Candles, an '80s cover band, played the festival in 2024 and headlined in 2025, when Fearless, a Taylor Swift tribute band, opened. Brand presence Sponsorship is built around the evening's fixed pieces. The main stage can carry a company's name, and the overall presenting sponsor's name goes on the stage's side scrims, the drone show, the event tickets and the parking vouchers, with announcements between sets and a chance to address the crowd before the headliner. The fireworks, each beer garden and each kids' tent sell as their own presenting positions, and CD Peacock presented the 2025 fireworks. Below that, sponsors appear on thank-you signage at the entry gates, in a post-event ad in the local paper and on the vouchers, or take a 10-by-10 booth on the grounds.
