About this listing
Overview Taste of St. Louis is a free weekend street festival built around Restaurant Row, a line of booths where St. Louis restaurants set up with their own grills and fryers; in 2025 the row held more than 40 restaurant booths. By 2025 it had run for about three decades and moved around the region, from downtown St. Louis to Chesterfield and back, and to downtown Clayton in 2025. Local event producers Patrick Zundel of Event Management and Design and Dustin Row of EventOps bought it in late 2025. Their teams have handled logistics for PrideFest, Celebrate St. Louis at the Gateway Arch and the GO! St. Louis Marathon. On site The 2025 edition closed streets in downtown Clayton along Central Avenue from a Friday evening through Sunday afternoon. Restaurant Row mixed ethnic, Americana and regional cooking, with gluten-free, vegan and kosher options, and a bar program poured cocktails and beer. Local bands and entertainers played through the weekend, and an artisan and maker market ran alongside the food. Audience The 2025 organizers said people came in from as far as St. Charles, Festus and Cape Girardeau, well outside the city, which was part of the case for moving to Clayton's more central location. Track record The festival moved from downtown to Chesterfield in 2014 and returned downtown to Soldiers Memorial in 2019, later partnering with Ballpark Village. The 2020 edition was canceled for COVID. By early 2025 the organizers put attendance at nearly 80,000, and the festival went to Clayton that August. The new owners did not hold a 2026 edition, saying they wanted time to find a venue sized for the crowd. Brand presence Sponsorship is sold by zone: a presenting sponsor, a stage sponsor, a beverage sponsor, the VIP sponsor lounge, Restaurant Row and community sponsors. When they bought the festival, Zundel and Row said they wanted sponsorship-backed plans and revenue share to replace heavy upfront fees for restaurants, while keeping entry free to the public.
