Overview Tastes and Tunes is a two-day Labor Day weekend festival of live music and local food in Chase Palm Park, which sits on the Santa Barbara waterfront between the Pacific and the Santa Ynez Mountains. The main stage plays the greatest hits of every generation - tribute bands, local favorites and special performances - and an artisan culinary marketplace of local and regional restaurants, food trucks, wineries and breweries runs beside it. General admission and VIP tickets are sold for the weekend, and the festival supports The Literacy Project, whose mission is to inspire a love of reading. On site The park holds two stages: a main stage with LED screens and a second stage that runs all day. Food trucks take single or double spaces and restaurants, wineries, breweries and artisan makers take booths from 10 by 10 feet up to 10 by 30, and every vendor is listed on the festival map. A sponsor village of branded tables sits on the grounds. VIP guests get a hospitality area with its own seating and the best views of the main stage. The schedule lives in a printed program and an event app. Brand presence One presenting partner puts its name on the festival itself, as "[Brand] Presents Tastes and Tunes," with a stage announcement every day, the lead activation zone and a VIP hospitality tent for its own guests. The main stage and the second stage are each sold as a named stage, with the partner's logo on the backdrop and a mention from the stage between sets. An official culinary partner is branded through the marketplace and its food and drink signage and can sample across the grounds. Below them, community partners take a table in the sponsor village and a place in the app and program, and hotel co-promotion and a feature to the festival's email list sit with the top two tiers.
