About this listing
Overview TeamSnap is the app youth sports families use to run a season: schedules, availability, team chat, registration and payments. About 30 million parents, players and coaches use it, across 65,000 sports organizations and 4 million teams. Its brand team sells product sampling at youth tournaments and league games, on-field league sponsorships and media inside the app. So a brand can hand a family a sample at the field on Saturday. That evening it can reach the same parent on their phone. On site TeamSnap picks tournaments and facilities to fit the brand's DMA, sport and family profile. A typical tournament runs two to four days with 1,100 to 3,300 players, and families roughly triple that. Sampling comes with booth space, product handed out face to face, photos, testimonials and coupons, plus mobile retargeting of families who visited the fields. Tournaments run all year. Late spring and the big holiday weekends are the busiest. League sponsorships add branded jerseys, field signage, league website banners, and emails and social posts sent by each league's commissioner. Most youth sports are available, from soccer and baseball to hockey and pickleball. Audience The main buyer is the parent TeamSnap calls the Chief Household Officer. According to TeamSnap, 71% of its users have household incomes of $100K or more, 76% say they do most of the household shopping, and homes with three or more kids index at 381. Ninety-six percent of parents say watching their kid play is their favorite thing to do. The in-app calendar gets more than 22 million views a week. Talent and Influencers There is no athlete roster. The people families listen to are their league commissioners and coaches, and they are the ones who send a sponsor's emails and posts. Coach of the Year and enter-to-win contests let a brand honor local coaches, and one past girls-in-sport campaign included a congratulatory message from WNBA player Maddy Siegrist. TeamSnap also works with MLB, MLS, the PLL and US Youth Soccer. Track record Kraft Mac and Cheese handed out 24,000 boxes at youth soccer tournaments in 12 markets, from Miami to Seattle. Meiji sampled through 37 leagues; league families bought 22% more of its products afterward, and Meiji has renewed three times. Tampax took a kit for teen girls to girls tournaments in Ohio and Pennsylvania. TeamSnap says its sponsors have put more than $20 million into youth leagues. Brand presence Brands that have run campaigns on TeamSnap include Lowe's, T-Mobile, Spectrum, Verizon, e.l.f. Beauty, Target, Walmart, General Mills, Tide, Marriott Bonvoy, Hilton, BODYARMOR, Gatorade, Chipotle, Pizza Hut, DoorDash and Under Armour. No category is locked.
