Overview TEMPO is a padel and pickleball club in Houston's Spring Branch with five glass-walled padel courts, four pickleball courts, a 230-degree sauna and a 37-degree ice bath, open from 7 a.m. to 11:30 p.m. every day. It opened in 2024. Padel here is doubles only, on regulation 10-by-20-meter courts with glass all the way around and the walls in play. In late June the club hosted a three-day USPA 500 padel tournament, which it billed as Houston's biggest padel tournament weekend. On site The padel courts are outdoors, on turf under LED lights, and book online around the clock. The four pickleball courts run open play, a ladder, leagues and coaching every day of the week. Off the courts there is a bar and lounge, espresso before a match and a pour after it, and the sauna and ice bath are for members. On Tuesday, Thursday and Friday mornings the club runs open play and free intro slots before the workday. Parking is free and on site, minutes from Memorial and the Energy Corridor. Audience The club counts more than 5,000 active users. First-timers come in through a free intro hour with a borrowed paddle, and members book up to 21 days ahead and use the sauna and ice bath. The tournament weekend added competitive players, spectators and families. Brand presence A brand can put its name on one of the courts for a year, in front of every member, league, lesson and tournament that plays on it. At the USPA 500, the title sponsor's name goes on the event as "presented by," and sponsors activate in the main tournament area beside a large step and repeat used for player, winner and sponsor photos; supporting partners can bring a tent, samples, giveaways or raffle prizes. The whole club can also be bought out for a product launch or client event of 50 to 250 guests, with every court, the lounge, the bar and staff.
