About this listing
Overview The Texas Craft Brewers Festival is a one-day tasting festival where only independent Texas-brewed beer is poured: roughly 80 of the state's craft breweries bring more than 200 beers to Fiesta Gardens, a public park on the Colorado River in East Austin. It is the flagship fundraiser of the Texas Craft Brewers Guild, the nonprofit trade association of small and independent Texas brewers, and the money goes to the guild's advocacy and education work for the industry. On site Every ticket comes with a commemorative tasting cup and 10 sample tickets, each good for a 3-ounce pour, and more samples can be bought on the grounds. VIP holders get in at noon, two hours ahead of general admission; last call is 6:15 and the park closes at 6:30. Local food trucks and live music run through the afternoon, and a Partners in Craft collaboration tap wall stands near the main entrance. VIPs go home with a four-pack of a festival collaboration beer, which in 2025 was Savanna Swells, a West Coast pilsner brewed with fonio by Blue Owl Brewing and Hold Out Brewing. The gate is strictly 21 and over, with no exception for infants, and designated drivers get a cheaper ticket with snacks and soft drinks. Audience The festival draws from well past Austin: 2024 attendees came from at least 161 Texas cities, 39 states and 7 countries. The guild describes most of the crowd as young professionals from the major Texas markets. The brewers are in the room too, with more than 400 brewery staff pouring and working the Brewer and Sponsor Green Room. Track record The first Texas Craft Brewers Festival was held in 2003. By the guild's 2025 count the day runs to about 600 VIPs and more than 200 kegs tapped, and 2025 was the fifth year VIPs went home with a commemorative collaboration beer. Brand presence The guild sells sponsorships to Texas breweries and to community and industry partners, and its 2023 sponsor page thanked 37 of them, most of them breweries and brewing suppliers - canning, labels, tap handles - alongside consumer names such as YETI and Rambler Sparkling Water. A partner footprint is a 10-by-10 tent and table on the festival grounds, with sponsor VIP passes that open the Brewer and Sponsor Green Room, and listings on the festival website and social channels. Tiers climb to a co-presenting position, and the Green Room can be sponsored outright.
