Overview The Coeur d'Alene Marathon is a Memorial Day weekend road race in the lake town of Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, starting and finishing at McEuen Park downtown, and its official after-party is a craft beer, cider and wine festival across the street from the finish whose proceeds go to the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation. The Sunday program carries a marathon on a Boston-certified course, a half marathon, a 10K, a 5K and a one-mile kids' run. Negative Split, a Pacific Northwest race company that times more than 100 races a year in Washington, Idaho and Oregon, produces it. On site Packet pickup runs Saturday at McEuen Park. On Sunday an early marathon start goes off at 5:30 for slower runners, followed by the marathon and half, the 10K at 8 and the 5K at 9, and every course has to be clear by 1 p.m. The first 25 children in the 5K run free. The routes run through downtown and along the lakeshore. The race village at the finish has water, electrolytes, food, snacks and gear check, and finishers get a long-sleeve shirt, a custom medal and food from local partners. HopDash Brewfest opens at noon at Fifth and Front, with unlimited tastings, a DJ and food trucks. Brand presence Idaho Central Credit Union presented the 2026 race. The 2027 partner list runs mostly local and regional: Parker Subaru, Pilgrim's Market, Visit Coeur d'Alene, Stadium Sports, Creamies and Litho Art Printers among them. Local partners supply the finisher food, and the race's charity partner is the North Idaho Centennial Trail Foundation, which maintains and extends the region's non-motorized trails.
