Overview TLN Pirates is a League of Legends team from Toulon that entered France's second division in December 2025 and by August 2026 had qualified for the EMEA Masters. It plays in the LFL, the top French league, after picking up a permanent slot in March 2026. TLN Group, a Toulon company founded in 2023, owns the club, and in July 2026 it added a second roster in Apex Legends, built around two world champions and entered in the ALGS Pro League. On site The club was set up around a building in downtown Toulon. As Sheep Esports reported the plan in December 2025, TLN Group was putting a gaming bar on the first floor with two floors above it for the team, close to 400 square meters across three levels, and budgeted 1.5 million euros for the bar and gaming house. The team held its spring 2026 bootcamp in Toulon. Talent and Influencers The League of Legends roster signed in January 2026: Spooder in the top lane, Stefan in the jungle, Toffe in the mid lane, Axelent on the bot lane and Thomas at support. Head coach Charly "Djoko" Guillard came over from years in the EU LCS and the LFL, where he won the Spring, Summer and season finals with LDLC OL in 2019. Frédéric "Glopo" Sialelli joined him on the coaching staff in March 2026. The former Cameroon international footballer Gaëtan Bong and Mariama Signaté, who won 147 caps for France's national handball team, came into the project as partners in 2025. Track record The team finished fourth at the 2026 LFL Invitational. In March 2026 French Flair stepped back and BK ROG was expelled, and TLN took the vacant LFL place. Spring 2026: second in the regular season at 7-2, fourth in the playoffs. Summer 2026: fifth in the regular season at 5-4, then second in the playoffs behind Galions, which sent the club to its first EMEA Masters. Brand presence Logitech G, BMW Bavaria Motors and Shine came aboard in spring 2026, the club's first season in the LFL. TLN sells its own team jersey, and the League of Legends and Apex rosters play under the same colors.
