Overview Tomorrowland Winter is the Belgian festival's week in the French Alps, a seven-day edition at the Alpe d'Huez ski resort where the stages sit on the mountain and the festival says the crowd gathers more than 2,000 meters above sea level. The resort's 250 kilometers of pistes and more than 50 restaurants and bars stay open around the program. A festival day can start on skis. Tomorrowland itself began in Boom, Belgium, in 2005, and its brand deck says the main festival sold out in three 15-minute sales against 2 million pre-registrations. On site The stages are spread across the resort, several of them at the top of the lifts. In 2026 the new Orbyz stage stood at Chantebise 2100, Reflection of Love at Signal 2108, where the panorama backs the DJ, and Frozen Lotus at La Folie Douce. Cage ran low light and close crowds, CORE brought its house and techno stage, and the Moose Bar ran Tyrolean singalong après-ski in a day session from 3 p.m. and a night session from 7. The 2026 mainstage was indoors, built as the last stop after a day outside. Tomorrowland's own team built the 2025 one, Paperworld, at 1,860 meters. It held 11,000 and carried a 215-square-meter video wall, 146 speakers, 15 lasers and eight flames. Audience People come straight off the slopes. At Frozen Lotus they arrive with snow on their boots and swap ski goggles for sunglasses, and the artists play close enough to the crowd to answer it. The day follows the light on the mountain: midday sets on the peaks, golden hour at Signal 2108, then down to the indoor mainstage at night. Talent and Influencers More than 100 artists played the 2026 edition, among them Alesso, Charlotte de Witte, Lost Frequencies, Steve Angello, Netsky, WhoMadeWho, Rebelion and Agents of Time. The festival's deck lists Armin van Buuren, Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike, Afrojack, Nina Kraviz, Amelie Lens, Steve Aoki, NERVO and HAAi among the names it has booked in the Alps, and it runs a dedicated program for local French artists. Track record The first Tomorrowland Winter ran from 13 to 15 March 2019 under the theme The Hymn of the Frozen Lotus and sold 30,000 tickets. COVID-19 took out 2020 and 2021. The festival came back to Alpe d'Huez in March 2022, and the March 2026 edition was its sixth. Around the 2025 edition the festival counted more than 9,800 articles in over 100 countries, and One World Radio, Tomorrowland's own station, reached 1.2 million unique listeners that March. Brand presence Tomorrowland takes one partner per category and sells partnerships at global, international and local levels, with Winter available on its own or bundled with the Belgian festival. Partners have built stages and products around the Alps edition: ellesse made a ski capsule collection and hosted the ellesse Crystal Garden stage, where DJ Henri PFR played. Partner assets run across the festival's app, website and mailings, branded stages, dedicated areas, product seeding and co-branded goods, and partners posted more than 600 times across the 2025 week.
