The Urban Arts Festival is Utah's largest free community art festival, produced annually in Salt Lake City by the Utah Arts Alliance. Founded in 2011, the two-day festival has earned recognition as Best New Event in Utah and draws an average of 20,000 attendees each year. The multicultural, multigenerational crowd moves continuously between stages, art zones, competitions and interactive experiences, drawn by breakdance battles, live mural painting, skate deck art, lowrider exhibits and basketball tournaments, driving long dwell time. The festival carries a 13,500-plus social following. Powered by a volunteer base and free to the public, sponsorship sustains the festival's mission and lets brands align with community impact, creative expression and cultural equity while engaging a broad, highly participatory audience.
