Overview U.S. Ski and Snowboard is the national governing body for Olympic skiing and snowboarding in the United States, and for the 2026-27 season it hosts 13 World Cup events at 10 American venues, the most in its history. The circuit runs from alpine at Copper Mountain, Killington, Beaver Creek and Sun Valley to moguls and aerials at Lake Placid, Waterville Valley and Deer Valley, slopestyle and halfpipe at Copper and Aspen Snowmass, ski jumping at Lake Placid and a para snowboard event at Steamboat. The roster included Mikaela Shiffrin, Lindsey Vonn, Chloe Kim, Red Gerard, Nick Baumgartner at his fifth Games and Jessie Diggins at her fourth and last. At Milano Cortina, Shiffrin and Breezy Johnson won alpine gold, Alex Ferreira won the freeski halfpipe, Elizabeth Lemley won moguls, and Chris Lillis, Connor Curran and Kaila Kuhn won mixed team aerials. Track record At the 2022 Beijing Games its athletes made up more than 40% of Team USA's delegation and won 15 of the country's 25 medals. Killington has been a regular stop on the women's World Cup circuit since 2016, and the federation puts its yearly crowds at nearly 40,000.
