Overview USA FitFest is a Tampa Bay sports festival and fitness expo that runs a dozen-plus competitions beside its expo floor, and its spring edition goes inside Raymond James Stadium, with weightlifters on the 50-yard line and a cake-eating contest on the Buccaneers' 103-foot pirate ship. The second edition fills the 150,000-square-foot Expo Hall at the Florida State Fairgrounds each August with more than 100 exhibitors. Limitless Athletics, the team behind the WOD Wars and Tampa Bay Games CrossFit competitions, runs both. On site The fairgrounds weekend puts the Tampa Bay Games CrossFit competition, the USPA Florida State Powerlifting Championship (tested on Saturday, open on Sunday), the Beasts of the Bay strongman, the USAW-sanctioned Tampa Bay Open in weightlifting, the American Log Press Championship, Grapplerz Fest jiu-jitsu and the Megatron World Wrestling Championships in one hall, with a 5K, fitness classes and a free Kids Zone of inflatables and face painting. The stadium day in April 2026 carried WOD Wars, the World's Strongest Manatee strongman, an NFL Stadium Clash sumo tournament, Tampa Grip Wars arm wrestling, King of the Bay jiu-jitsu on mats under the lights and a Pirate Cove 5K that finishes at the ship. Audience The CrossFit competitions take athletes from novice to elite, Grapplerz Fest brackets start at age 4 and run through teens, adults and masters, and the 5K is open to casual joggers. The Kilos Against Cancer weightlifting fundraiser runs on the same floor. Talent and Influencers Two-time Mr. Olympia Derek Lunsford, Olympic weightlifting gold medalist Olivia Reeves and strongwoman Inez Carrasquillo were billed for the April 2026 stadium edition. Guests billed at the fairgrounds edition have included Larry Wheels, four-time World's Strongest Woman Erin Murray, three-time America's Strongest Man Lucas Hatton, Arnold Strongman champion Steven Bradley, two-time ADCC champion Giancarlo Bodoni, five-time CrossFit Games athlete Colten Mertens and Stanley Cup champion Andrei Vasilevskiy. Track record WOD Wars began in 2016, billed as the only CrossFit competition in an NFL stadium, and Tampa Bay Games followed in 2017. The same organizers run the Tampa Bay Strength and Fitness Expo, and FitFest's site described it as 10 years strong in 2026. Brand presence Valor Fitness, 1st Phorm, REIGN Body Fuel and Last Rep appeared as partners on the 2026 site. Brands take expo booths, listed in an exhibitor directory for each edition, on the same floor as the competitions.
