Overview The Visit Lauderdale Food and Wine Festival spends a week each January eating its way across Greater Fort Lauderdale, from classes at venues around town to a Grand Tasting at Las Olas Oceanside Park by the beach, and a portion of all proceeds goes to Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital. It was established in January 2018 to put the area's restaurants, hotels, chefs and mixologists in front of the public. 66 Productions produces it. On site The 2027 schedule set The Feast, an evening of Italian food, and BBQ at the Beach, billed as a symphony of smoke and fire, on consecutive nights at Las Olas Intracoastal Promenade Park. The Grand Tasting takes the next afternoon at Las Olas Oceanside Park, in VIP and general admission, and on the last day Beachside Brunch sets up on the lawn and Picnic in the Park runs free for all ages. Classes and seminars with local pros run through the week. Talent and Influencers For 2027 the festival named Marcus Samuelsson, Nancy Fuller, Bobby Hicks, Jason Smith, Eddie Jackson and Hannah Flora. Aaron Sánchez and Richard Blais have also appeared on its talent roster, and the rest of that roster comes from Greater Fort Lauderdale's own chefs, mixologists and sommeliers. Brand presence The presenting partner's name runs festival-wide from signing through festival week, on posters, billboards, banners, tasting glasses, signage, ads, press and email. Category partners hold exclusive rights in their category. A single sponsor logo can go on every tasting glass at the Grand Tasting, partners activate at both the Grand Tasting and Picnic in the Park, and partner packages carry tickets to the dining series and Beachside Brunch.
