About this listing
Overview We Belong Here New Orleans puts the festival's in-the-round dance floor on Woldenberg Riverfront Park, between the Mississippi and the French Quarter, and its first edition, in November 2026, was booked with ODESZA on a DJ set, Carl Cox, Steve Angello and Sammy Virji at the top of the bill. It is the first We Belong Here outside Florida and New York. Co-founder Justin Dauman called New Orleans a highly requested city from the festival's own community, and tied the city's role as the birthplace of jazz to its part in spreading house and rave culture across the South. On site The park is open green space and public art at the water's edge, and the festival runs two stages across three days, strictly 21 and over. The floor is oversized so there is room to dance, and free water stations, lounges, lockers and air-conditioned restroom trailers are open to everyone. The festival hands the grounds to visual artists, immersive activations and local food and drink, and Kristina Kay Robinson and Mike Hazel were credited with the stage design for the first year. Private table sections sit on raised platforms for groups. Talent and Influencers Beyond the headliners, the first New Orleans bill carried Max Styler, ChaseWest, BLOND:ISH and Marshall Jefferson. Set De Flo, the New Orleans collective and record label that KILOBAUUD and Vick Trochez have run since 2017, took over part of the weekend, and more than 30 local artists were booked in all, including Avea De Lune, Bouffant Bouffant, C'est Funk, C-Lab, Flamingeaux, Josh Heller, Mr. Bones, Nile Ashton and Shlomo. Track record We Belong Here started on the beach at Virginia Key in Miami in February 2022. Dauman said most tickets for the first Central Park edition in 2024 sold inside a day, and the first Tampa Bay edition sold out in September 2025, three months before it ran. Attendance funds music education for K-12 students near each event. Brand presence The partner package centers on a stage: presenting rights, with the stage designed together with the festival. The partner also gets a bar or sampling station on the grounds, a way to put product in front of the artists in green rooms and lounges, and an influencer campaign built around the weekend.
