About this listing
Overview White Oak Music Hall is a five-acre live music complex two miles north of downtown Houston. It has three stages, the outdoor Lawn, the Downstairs hall and the small Upstairs room, plus the Raven Tower bar next door. More than 400 shows a year cover indie, rock, country, hip-hop, EDM, metal, Latin and comedy, and plenty of acts climb from the Upstairs to the Lawn over a few tours. On site The Lawn holds 5,000 people in front of a fixed stage with the downtown skyline behind it. It runs about 30 shows a year with upgraded seating, roof decks, balconies and food trucks. Downstairs is an air-conditioned two-level hall for 1,400 that books more than 140 shows a year. Upstairs fits 250 and hosts around 180. Raven Tower, a 1970s metal shop with apartments built high above it, now works as a bar, private event space and occasional stage. The complex has about 400 parking spaces and a Metro Rail stop nearby. Audience About 350,000 people come through each year. Most are Houston young professionals and creative types with money to spend. Six in ten are 18 to 34, men slightly outnumber women, and 91% live in the Houston area. Talent and Influencers The Lawn has hosted Tame Impala, Phoebe Bridgers, Wilco, Pixies, Deftones and Dwight Yoakam. Downstairs has had Charli XCX, Billy Strings, Megan Thee Stallion and Diplo, and Upstairs has had Omar Apollo, Arlo Parks and Soccer Mommy before they moved up. Bill Burr, Marc Maron and Mo Amer have played comedy nights. The Black Keys, The Flaming Lips and the Hell's Heroes metal festival are on the recent calendar. Track record The sponsor wall includes Bud Light, White Claw, Jack Daniel's, Deep Eddy Vodka, Ilegal Mezcal, NÜTRL, Rambler Sparkling Water and Houston's 8th Wonder Brewery. Rambler runs a monthly mixtape and cocktail recipe on the venue's Instagram, and Lyft has branded the express entrance. Brand presence The lead partner takes presenting rights on a term of three years or more, category exclusivity, naming rights to the Lawn stage, marquee signage and spots on every video screen. Partners also get branding on the website and tickets, newsletters to more than 400,000 subscribers, social posts, display space at every show, roof deck and balcony hospitality, and tickets to every show. The venue also books private events.
