Overview The Novant Health Wilmington Marathon is a Boston-qualifying road race on the North Carolina coast that links Wrightsville Beach and downtown Wilmington and crosses six bridges, four of them flat. Race weekend adds a half marathon, a 5K and a free one-mile run for children 14 and under, and the three main distances also run as virtual races. Novant Health holds the title. Without Limits Productions, which organizes runs, rides and triathlons across the Carolinas, puts it on. On site The race expo runs at the Wilmington Convention Center on the Friday before race day. Marathoners must be 16 or older and half marathoners 13 or older. The course ends in the Finish Line Festival, and a duo-team category is open alongside the individual races.
