About this listing
Overview Yoga on the Rocks is an hour of yoga at 7 on Saturday mornings inside Red Rocks Amphitheatre, between Ship Rock and Creation Rock at 6,450 feet, taught by yoga studios that take turns through the summer. The 2026 season ran 12 Saturdays from late May to the end of August, with classes led by The River, Better Buzz Yoga and Rooted Heart Yoga and Wellness. Denver Arts and Venues, the city agency that runs Red Rocks alongside the Denver Performing Arts Complex and the Colorado Convention Center, produces it. The City and County of Denver owns the amphitheatre, which was built with Civilian Conservation Corps and WPA labor and dedicated in 1941, and seats 9,525. On site Doors open at 6 and class starts at 7. People bring water and their own mat, and each date has its own named teacher; two of the 2026 classes were taught bilingually. Tickets sell for a single class or as a six-pack. After class, the venue's Ship Rock Grille serves brunch by reservation. Track record The series ran in two seasons in 2018, one presented by The River Yoga and one by CorePower Yoga, with $1 from every admission going to LoveYourBrain and YogaFoster. By 1999 Red Rocks had won Pollstar's best small outdoor venue award eleven times, and the magazine renamed the award after it. Brand presence White Claw Hard Seltzer was the presenting partner in 2026, with its name on the series: Yoga on the Rocks, presented by White Claw. Each host studio carried its own run of dates in 2026. Partnerships are built custom with Denver Arts and Venues.
