Overview The Yuengling Oktoberfest 5K is a Sunday morning road race that starts and finishes at SteelStacks in Bethlehem during ArtsQuest's Oktoberfest. Every finisher gets a 22-ounce mug of Yuengling Oktoberfest at the line, and for most runners that is the main attraction. On site Runners get an official long-sleeve race shirt, a custom finisher medal and a personalized bib, then roll straight into Oktoberfest's biergartens and bands once the festival opens at noon. The race is organized with Run Lehigh Valley. Sponsors can put a logo on the race shirt, bib or medal, run a 10x10 at the start and finish, hand out samples and get placement in the race and Oktoberfest e-mails. Audience Casual and competitive runners aged 21 to 64 from the Lehigh Valley, Philadelphia and New Jersey, plus friends and family at the finish. Talent and Influencers The race has no pro field; the draw is the local running community, club teams and costumed runners in lederhosen and dirndls. Track record The 5K has quickly become a fall tradition, with more than 1,200 runners at the most recent edition. Brand presence Yuengling presents the race and Run Lehigh Valley manages it. Oktoberfest itself is presented by Lehigh Valley International Airport.
