About this listing
Overview ZooLú is the Mardi Gras rave that Disco Donnie started at New Orleans' State Palace Theater in 1995, and the 2026 edition was the 32nd, three nights of Carnival week split between Mardi Gras World and The Metropolitan nightclub. Every night is 18 and over. The producer, Disco Presents, was founded in New Orleans in 1994 by James "Disco Donnie" Estopinal; it says it has sold more than 20 million tickets across more than 20,000 events, and it runs festivals including Lights All Night, Sunset Music Festival, Freaky Deaky and Ubbi Dubbi. On site In 2026 the week opened on a Thursday at Mardi Gras World, then moved to The Metropolitan in the Warehouse District for Saturday and for the Monday night before Fat Tuesday. Tables come with bottle service - premium liquor, mixers, section seating, expedited entry, VIP credentials and a section host - and table holders can move between the general admission and VIP areas. Talent and Influencers The 2026 bill ran Disco Lines and CID on the opening night, Alison Wonderland with Trivecta and Baclash on Saturday, and Hugel on the Monday. Track record ZooLú ran at the State Palace Theater every Mardi Gras weekend from 1995 to 2006, and moved after Hurricane Katrina damaged the building. Disco Presents partnered with Insomniac in 1999, merged into SFX Entertainment in 2012 and became part of LiveStyle in 2017, and Estopinal took back sole ownership in 2020.
